Chai Legacy Circle
Adat Yeshurun Chai Legacy Circle
Dear Friends,
We are a proud member of Create a Jewish Legacy, a community-wide program of the Jewish Community Foundation.
Create a Jewish Legacy enables every member of the San Diego community to have a long-term impact on the Jewish institutions closest to their hearts.
The program represents a shared commitment by area agencies, synagogues, and day schools to work together collectively to secure after-lifetime gifts.
Together, we are providing for the future of our beloved Jewish community.
Legacy Gifts (from a will, trust, retirement plan or life insurance) are designed to honor your lifetime of giving by adding to our endowment fund (“forever” fund) with the Jewish Community Foundation. The endowment fund provides an annual income to our organization to keep us strong for generations to come – just as universities and hospitals have done for generations.
A Legacy Gift fulfills a spiritual ideal. Each one of us has the power to leave a legacy – one that fulfills our passions and dreams, and also one that carries on the legacy of those who came before us. What will your legacy be?
Please consider the importance of Congregation Adat Yeshurun to you and your family. Help us to ensure that Adat has a vibrant and vital tomorrow. A planned gift enables our children’s children to participate in a positive Jewish life, full of pride in our sacred traditions.
By consulting with the professionals at the Jewish Community Foundation, a Legacy Plan can be designed that will provide advantages for you, while creating significant benefits for Adat. The Foundation offers complimentary and confidential Legacy Planning services – a wonderful resource for our community.
If you have already included a Legacy Gift in your estate plans, THANK YOU! Kindly notify us so that we may thank you now and recognize your commitment as a member of our Chai Legacy Circle.
Through the Create a Jewish Legacy program, we work together to secure the necessary resources for our Jewish future. We look forward to speaking with you about this exciting program in the coming months.
With our best wishes for a vibrant tomorrow,
Daniel Reich, Rabbi of Congregation Adat Yeshurun
Steven B. Weitzen, President of Congregation Adat Yeshurun
Rick Venger and Brian Zimmerman, Chai Legacy Committee Chairs
Please contact Sharon Rapoport at the Shul office to discuss creating a Legacy Gift to Adat Yeshurun.
